Chef Wes Stepp has recently opened Outer Banks Seafood Company in Virginia Beach, and we were invited to the final staff training day, the menu presentation.
In case you dont know, that’s when Chef cooks the entire menu for the staff, so they get familiar with the food and understand exactly what is on the menu. It’s also the most delicious training day ever
The restaurant is located at 1080 Nimmo Parkway, in the Red Mills neighborhood in Virginia Beach, and it’s a beautiful location. Overlooking a large lake, surrounded by huge mansions, staffed with high-quality professionals and serving the same deliciously fresh seafood that made Red Sky Cafe a landmark in the Outer Banks, Chef Wes’ new restaurant is already a major success.
