Highlights From Taste Of The Beach

The Taste of the Beach is done for another year, and it was a HUGE success. Chef Wes Stepp and the staff of the Red Sky Cafe were a big hit for the Duck Tapas Crawl on Friday. The unexpected rain didn’t slow anyone down either. Plenty of people came in to try the fantastic fare. And by the time they made it to the last stop, the guests were crawling after being stuffed with so much great food.

On Sunday, at the Nags Head TOB Expo, many of the local Outer Banks restaurants were on display. The food was amazing, and everyone had a great time. The smell of delicious food was overwhelming, and anyone who went away hungry only had themselves to blame. The Red Sky booth kept cooking fresh “Duck Village Salads” with local Wanchese shrimp, along with seared, rare Yellowfin Tuna and seaweed salad. All of the guests loved it!

If you missed the Tapas Crawl in Duck or the Expo in Nags Head, you can still have a great meal at the Red Sky Cafe in Duck. But next year, make sure you take part in the Taste of the Beach. Its an experience you won’t want to miss again!
