Not Just The Food, But Quality of Service Guarantees Flawless Outer Banks Wedding!

As you’re probably aware, the Wedding season on the Outer Banks happens in two bursts – from mid-April to June, and then from mid-August to October – so we’re just coming off of the second burst. That explains part of the reason why you’ve seen some awesome testimonials about the famous Red Sky Cafe Shrimp & Grits as well as our commitment to go beyond catering and offer wedding planning advice as well.

It’s about this commitment that we’d like to talk today, after receiving another very nice compliment from the Janes family:

I wanted to let you know that your staff was excellent. Everyone raved about the food and the quality of service!

We really appreciated that they cleaned up the dishes/glasses, etc and put everything back in the racks for the rental co to pick up the next day. We weren’t expecting them to do that and we really appreciate them going above and beyond. It was wonderful not to have to clean up the next day!

Thanks again and we’ll definitely stop in and say hello next summer when we’re back in OBX.

One Hand Washes The Other – Specially on the Outer Banks

We’re not exactly sure how catering companies perform their job in huge metro areas, but here on the OBX we see lots of familiar faces at Weddings, and that inspires a high level of neighborly cooperation. Clearly, we want to wow our guests with the most amazing OBX catering services, but we wouldn’t be able to do that and expect our customers to organize their dishes and silverware to be returned to the wedding rental company the next day. Or worse, have to pay a penalty for not doing so.

But we also want to help the folks we work with – the rental companies may be able to offer us some equipment in an emergency, or a wedding planner might need the help of our staff to add some last minute finishing touches to the decoration. Because most of the wedding professionals on the Outer Banks are committed to your wedding, we go the extra mile to make sure everything is flawless.

Thank You!

We wanted to thank the Janes family for relying on us with their special day, and let them know that it is our pleasure to make sure it remains a special day for as long as possible – even if we need to do some cleaning up at the end.

We look forward to seeing their family, and yours, at the Red Sky Cafe for many years to come!
