Watermelon Sculpture

Beyond carefully selecting a menu that will please your guests, the Red Sky Cafe goes several steps further when caring for your Outer Banks Wedding. Every wedding that we cater receives at least two unique fresh fruit sculptures carved by our on-staff artist.

Honeydew Flower

On the video above, you’ll see 3 carved watermelons surrounded by a banquet of fresh fruit suited for a royal beach luau. The first carving is a swan, and the artist used both the skin, and the flesh to create the perception of multi-colored feathers.

Then, we have two flower sculptures, each with a unique pattern, in a more Asian approach.

The fruit sculptures are another Red Sky catering signature item, and they are included in every one of our outer banks wedding package with no additional cost.
